Does FirstStaff offer only temporary positions?

No. FirstStaff understands that job seekers are individual and come to us with many unique situations, some of which may require temporary positions, but some of which may require temp-to-perm or direct hire jobs. Our staffing experts will work one- on-one with each job seeker to provide an individualized employment solution that is respectful of each applicant’s experience level.

What about benefits?

FirstStaff is proud to offer our employees Benefits-In-A-Card. Through this program, FirstStaff employees have access to affordable health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and more.

Is there a waiting period before an employee is eligible for insurance?

No, employees are eligible on their first day of work.

I have enrolled in Benefits-In-A-Card and I have question about my coverage. Who do I contact?

If you have enrolled in Benefits-In-A-Card and have a question about your coverage, you may contact Benefits-In-A-Card’s bilingual call center at 1 (800) 497-4856. The call center is open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm.

When is payday?

Friday is payday at FirstStaff. For each week that you report hours, you will be paid the following Friday.

Where do I cash paychecks?

If you do not have a bank account, you may cash your checks free of charge at any branch of the following banks, depending on which FirstStaff branch you utilize:

  • North Little Rock: Twin City Bank
  • Benton: Malvern National Bank
  • Hot Springs: Elk Horn Bank
  • Siloam Springs: Signature Bank of AR
  • Fort Smith: First National Bank of Fort Smith
  • Arkadelphia: Elk Horn Bank
  • Fayetteville: Signature Bank of AR
  • Bentonville: Signature Bank of AR

Is direct deposit an option?

Yes. FirstStaff offers Direct Deposit to our employees, which enables us to “Direct Deposit” your paycheck into your account at any bank. Direct Deposit is safe, reliable, and convenient to you. You do not have to take care of a paper check (which could be delayed in the mail, lost or stolen) and you do not have to travel to pick up a check from our office. When is the deadline for timecards?

Timecards are due each Monday for the previous workweek.
