Does FirstStaff offer only temporary positions?

No. FirstStaff understands that job seekers are individual and come to us with many unique situations, some of which may require temporary positions, but some of which may require temp-to-perm or direct hire jobs. Our staffing experts will work one-on-one with each job seeker to provide an individualized employment solution that is respectful of each applicant's experience level.

Does FirstStaff charge its applicants and employees a fee?

Absolutely not. Our customers pay us to find you. Through no cost to our applicants and employees, FirstStaff markets your skills and experience to the businesses whose positions best match your abilities. At FirstStaff, our staffing specialists can work with you to develop a career plan that capitalizes on your strengths and skills. Let us put you on the road to success.

My assignment is complete. Now what?

Let us know you’re interested in another position! FirstStaff policy requires that you call in and report yourself available for new assignments within 48 hours of the completion of your current assignment. It is very important to remember to call in your availability status so that we can promote your skills to other customers.

When is payday?

Friday is payday at FirstStaff. For each week that you report hours, you will be paid the following Friday.

Where do I cash paychecks?

If you do not have a bank account, you may cash your checks free of charge at any branch of the following banks, depending on which FirstStaff branch you utilize:

  • Little Rock: Bank of the Ozarks
  • North Little Rock: Bank of the Ozarks
  • Benton: Bank of the Ozarks
  • Hot Springs: Bank of the Ozarks
  • Fort Smith: Bank of the Ozarks
  • Arkadelphia: Summit Bank

Is direct deposit an option?

Yes. FirstStaff offers Direct Deposit to our employees, which enables us to “Direct Deposit” your paycheck into your account at any bank. Direct Deposit is safe, reliable, and convenient to you. You do not have to take care of a paper check (which could be delayed in the mail, lost or stolen) and you do not have to travel to pick up a check from our office. See your FirstStaff Representative if you are interested.

When is the deadline for timecards?

Timecards are due each Monday for the previous workweek.

How do I login to view my pay information?

In order for temporary employees to access pay information online, they can visit our website at www.firststaffstaffing.com and click the EMPLOYEE LOGIN link on the middle of our homepage.  Please note the following information:

User ID: Temporary Employee’s Social Security Number (example – 999999999)

Password: The first four letters of Temporary Employee’s last name and last four digits of Temporary Employee’s Social Security Number (example – jone9999)

Pay information will be updated each Friday. If the employee is enrolled in direct deposit, he or she will not be mailed a check stub.
